Global IP VPN Service Specification – detailed information

1. Service overview
Built on Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology, the Telstra Global Next IP network is inherently fault tolerant and engineered for optimal performance. All network traffic automatically travels via the fastest available route and is quickly re-routed in the event of a fault to maximise service uptime. MPLS technology also ensures high network security and does not require additional premise equipment for encryption or tunnelling.
