Telstra International has been selected by one of the world’s leading international law firms to provide a fully managed end-to-end Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network, ensuring the customer can enjoy reliable and robust communications between its 29 offices across 19 countries around the world.
A resilient ICT infrastructure is critical for international law firms, both to ensure regulatory compliance, and to enable rapid data access for lawyers working across the globe. By upgrading its international network, the customer will have the flexibility to adapt its infrastructure to meet these demands and evolve with changing global markets.
The law firm expects significant growth in demand for its services in the Asia-Pacific countries in particular, due to the region’s increasing importance to the global business economy. Telstra International’s unrivalled expertise and network coverage in Asia-Pac means the customer will have the capacity for continued expansion in the region, in addition to serving its traditional core markets in Europe and North America.
Andrew Wildblood, Vice President for Enterprise and MNC Sales, Telstra International, commented: “In today’s global economy, premium multi-national companies need to be able to rely on a robust, resilient network between their international locations to ensure that operational efficiencies are maximised. The inherent reliability and security of our global network means we are able to provide multi-national companies with a truly global solution and the scalability to allow further business expansion into emerging markets such as Asia.”
To provide the best possible service for its multi-national and governmental clients, a state-of-the-art global communications infrastructure is critical to the continued strength of the law firm’s international business. Following a rigorous tender process, it selected Telstra International to manage its MPLS network due to its responsiveness and flexibility – it was able to provide a bespoke solution to fit the customer’s exact requirements.
The MPLS network will be fully managed by Telstra International’s EMEA team and enable seamless communications between over 2,000 qualified lawyers employed by the customer across the globe.
