New UK facility operational following five month build project.
Telstra International, a leading global provider of managed networked and hosted solutions, has opened its new state-of-the-art London Hosting Centre – Woking, the company’s third UK data centre.
The new facility highlights Telstra International’s continued investment in its global hosting footprint and marks the next stage in its evolution towards a full suite of managed services for its customers.
Launched in September 2009, the London Hosting Centre - Woking provides an additional 10,000 square feet of hosting space for customers looking for the latest in secure co-location, managed hosting and network solutions.
It was built to meet increasing demand for hosting in the UK, and benefits from connectivity to the Telstra Global Next IP™ backbone network. The facility offers high density hosting, as well as disaster recovery options through resilient fibre optic cable feeds to Telstra International’s other UK data centres in central London and Cambridge.
