Joanna Banka

Joanna Banka is a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and has worked for Telstra International since 2006. Her role involves the management and maintenance of software applications, which have been developed to improve internal business processes. This also involves undertaking frequent analysis of the software to ensure it runs seamlessly before ‘going live’.

Joanna regularly meets with potential users to demonstrate the software, which ultimately exposes the popularity of the applications and what changes are required to ensure adoption. Whilst demanding, this is the part of her job that she enjoys the most because it means that each day is different. She relishes the fact that she has the opportunity to work with multiple teams across the business, meaning she never stops learning new things about Telstra International and the wider industry.

Joanna is also responsible for running internal training for her colleagues on new applications or software. Her team consists of seven people.
